#2

Ok...so I think that life is repeating itself!  I was feeding Landon this morning at 6:00am this time, and all of a sudden I heard another bat.  I could not find it right away but it soon flew in front of the T.V. again.  I was sitting on the couch and Landon was again sleeping on my shoulder as I tried to burp him.  I went and put Landon in the crib and again woke my knight in shining armor.  He told me I woke him up from deep REM sleep.  We looked around in the kitchen, I knew it was in there some where because I watch to see where he went.  I walked over to the window and lifted the valance and there he was!  Dave swooped him up with his fishing net and took him outside, but not before I could QUICKLY snap a picture.  He started to get out of the net so Dave had to move to the door real fast.

Dave's mom is coming out to visit for Mykala's 3rd birthday in a couple of weeks and we told her about the first bat and she told us we need to get the problem under control before she comes.  So Dave has a to-do list to take care of the problem this weekend.  We have to plug a couple of holes that we think they are coming through.  Oh, it will be a fun weekend.  Otherwise to have the professionals come out and do the work it will be about $250.00, so we thought that we would give it a try and see if we can take care of it ourselves.  Don't tell Dave's mom about this or I think that she will cancel her trip...I think she reads the blog!!  We will keep you updated.  Hopefully no more visits from our furry friends with wings!!
